Healing is never simply about going back to the way things were, but about being made new - restored, renewed and reconciled.

Christian Counselling

If you’re a Christian, you may want your faith to be part of the counselling process. Many people find their beliefs shape how they make sense of life, relationships, pain and hope. Christian counselling can offer space to explore your thoughts and feelings through the lens of your faith.

For some, faith brings comfort and identity; for others, it may involve past hurt, anger, or uncertainty. All of this is welcome. I’m interested in what your experiences mean to you personally and how your family background, culture and the other influences in your life may have shaped your faith and experiences.

My first degree was in Theology, and I have many years of experience working within churches and Christian organisations. My counselling training included both traditional therapeutic models as well as specific work on integrating counselling and spirituality. I’m interested in what your experiences mean to you personally and how your family background, culture and the other influences in your life may have shaped your faith and experiences.

You’re free to decide how much your faith features in our work, and can change your mind at any time.  I work sensitively with people of all beliefs and backgrounds, respecting your individual perspective.

Any integration of faith is entirely led by you - never assumed or imposed - and always aligned with my professional ethical standards.
